So what you are telling us is to post pictures that are so small you can't see details.

Why does it matter anyways.

I moderate other boards and I have never limited pictures to a small size.

640 pixels wide is plenty. Many of the images you guys posted in this thread had more white space than content. The image below is 640 pixels wide.

Going too far beyond this as you have in this thread makes for unfriendly browsing for people viewing at 1024x768. All you needed to do was crop your image instead of including white space that accounts for more than half the image width.
