i recently installed a 9004 telescopic hid kit on my 2003 olds silhoutte.  after install the high beam indicator in the instrument cluster comes on semi-bright when i turn the fogs on, and the bulbs moves into the high beams position also.  does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? i dont want to blind anyone but i like having my fogs on too.   any info greatly appreciate.  thanks

Not knowing how you tied into your original wiring, it is hard to say. You are getting a backfeed from somewhere. Ways to eliminate backfeeds:
Direct backfeed: you are directly connected to the circuit and feeding power the wrong way from the connection point - install isolation diodes above the tap-in point of your new wire.
Indirect backfeed: power is creeping back through a load (light bulb is most common) and feeding reduced power to a circuit - install isolation diodes above the tap-in point of your new wire.
Induced backfeed: high current draw in one wire is inducing current flow in another - separate the wires and try to loop one.
I hope that helps
