If I mount the antenna of the R/S on the rear window, will the defroster grid interfere w/ the RF?  Will The car have approximately the same remote start range?

Thanks

Probably not a great idea. Most rear windows have some sort of tint and the defroster grid on them, The other issue would be antenna cable length...

there would be no problem as long as u stick to a spot where there is no defroster lines.  the bad part is u would have to run some long wires from the module in the rear to the front ignition wires. i wouldnt recomend tapping into the antenna cable or running them under the carpet or sill plates because they are fragile...
