Installed a MARS 22 on over a dozen Impalas.  One in question starts fine,  runs fine, but the security light comes on every once in a while.  Then after a while it goes off.  Use PLJX on all of them.  This ones giving me fits.
Anyone else heard of this one?  It looks like it's wired correct.  I've done this for 8 years and 700 units.  Never saw this before.

It (Mars 22) has a positive or negative selectable output.  I put it over to negative and put a resistor in line with it.  It's worked well in the past.

OOPS...  My bad.  I  hooked directly to the BCM with a negative output from the MARS22.

At the parking light switch there's light blue negative, or BROWN / white positive; your choice. Either of those wires won't trip the check engine light.
