Morning all. A short while back I put out a plea for assistance in removing the factory "premium" amplifaction of a 1998 Expedition to replace with a Alpine/JL Audio combo. I must say that with everyones help here, it went through without a hitch and the system soudned great. However, mechanically the truck died and has since been traded in for a 2001 Acura 3.2TL. I have come back to these forums in search of answers in dropping my old equipment into my new car (see below for list). I am fine with box building and custom radio installation. But, I need assistance and some tech tips for the bypass of the Bose system. Questions I have are as follows and thank you greatly for everyones continued assistance.

Where is the Bose amp/amps located in this car?

Is a complete speakers rewire in my best interest?

Tech tips of simple Bose bypass (if possible)?

Tech tips on a rewire (if nessecary)...

Tech tips on 1/0 power cable installation though frame rail into trunk area?

Possible grounding locations?

RCA route locations (radio location to trunk)?

Anyone ever done a "Big 3" upgrade on this type car?

Steering wheel volume control intergration with a IVA-W200?

Size of factory subwoofer and possible sie replacement?

Tech tips on remote start installation?

Equipment to be installed -

Alpine IVA-W200

1 Set - JL Audio XR CSi 650 Components (6 1/2") / Front Doors

1 Set - JL Audio XR CXi 650 Coaxial (6 1/2") / Rear Doors

1 - JL Audio 8W3V2 Midbass (8") / Factory Location?

1 - JL Audio 12W3V2 Subwoofer (12") / Trunk Custom Enclosure

1 - Rockford Fosgate T400-4 Multi-Channel Amp (60Wx4 RMS @ 4 Ohms) / Truck Custom Enclosure

1 - Rockford Fosgate T400-2 Multi Channel Amp (200Wx2 RMS @ 2 Ohms) / Trunk Custom Enclosure

Thanks again for everyone assistance.
