unplug your shock sensor and try remote staring the car. if the alarm still goes off you know its something other then the shock sensor. the shock sensor SHOULD disable during remote start. it would internally be connected to the status output so theres no need to connect it to the blue/white unless you know for sure its the shock sensor setting the alarm off.

there is a loop at one end and the other end has a blue wire that goes to the blue/white wire to turn off shock sensor when in remote start. thanks but i do have a idea!

In an odd way Jason is right that if we shunt a data line to ground no data can get thru (as JWorm rolls his eyes viper 791 in rsx - Page 2 -- posted image.  ). Here's the logic: smash your car and no one will steal it - effective but unecessary. viper 791 in rsx - Page 2 -- posted image.  A short circuit will always have a negative effect on signals.

It's the wrong way to get things done! (JWorm smiles viper 791 in rsx - Page 2 -- posted image.)

We created a short circuit just the same and it's uncalled for as was mentioned earlier.

The shock is bypassed at remote start as it is programmed this way in the EEPROM.

Here's how it's supposed to be done ! :

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.
