Did you connect anything from the remote starter to the brown, second-accessory wire at the ignition switch?
If you did, test to see that something hasn't been miswired, allowing the brown wire to see power all the time.
If you didn't, test the brown wire anyway and see if it has power all the time.
Possible solutions:
--If remote starter is connected to the brown, disconnect it; it isn't necessary anyway.
--If brown wire still has power all the time, unplug ignition switch from behind. If the problem goes away, you've got a bad ignition switch, as green6767 says.
--If brown wire does not lose power when ignition switch is unplugged, something is wrong somewhere else in the car.
--If brown wire does NOT have power, but the radio still stays on anyway, something is wrong somewhere else in the car.

i've seen a few grand am's and alero's with a bum door sense circuit..... opening the door didnt shut off the RAP circuit.....   as mentioned RAP will normally expire after 10 minutes anyway.....  could be class II issue.....

is the domelight staying on all the time?  does it turn on & off when you open & close the door?
