I'll let Stev. keep working with you on the technical side of things. So this is just my opinion. I have 2 of these subs in sealed enclosures, I can't remember the internal volume I think it is around 1.25 cu. each sub is running around 600w. They are in the trunk of my car....so not right behind my head, They pound!...you could probably leave the sub in its shipping crate and plug it in and it would sound decent! (lol). I use too have 2 PPI PRO 12's ( back when they were still PPI..the flat piston design) I paid huge for those subs, and I took a chance on the CD's. But I have to say they out perform the PPI's (IMO), and I am quite happy with them and their performance. (for now cliff design cd120c - Page 3 -- posted image.)

Anyway just a bit of a rant, all I am saying whan you put that sub in the cab of your truck...I don't think you'll be worrying about the lows.

hi everyone i built my box friday night and everything went well the box was 1.54 cubic feet and a 4 inch X 15.4 inches long it sounds pretty good but doesnt really go as deep as i would like. can i change the port length to get it to go deeper. and another thing is i have a MTX thunder 81000d amp and i was just wondering how to wire the sub properly to get the most  i can out of both the sub and amp. the sub is a dual voice coil and the amp has 2 channels but it doesnt say if i can bridge them does anyone know what i can do i wanna get the most power into the sub and the most sound out of the sub i just want it to pound hard

That amp does not have two channels...you cannot bridge that amp.
It has two SETS of terminals for easier wire with mulitple woofers.
That amp is not stable down to one ohm I think...wire it up in series to the amp...500 watts rms is plenty
