can anyone confirm this how you hook up the DEI555? Are the colors correct for the Immobilizer wires on the car? And how about the IGN wires?

Guys,
I have a 2000 Expedition with the factory Keyless entry. I have a Code Alarm CA-670 that I am trying to hook up so I can arm/disarm with the keypad. I know this can be done, because I have heard of doing this before.
The alarm DOES have factory arm, disarm etc. so I am pretty sure what that these wires are for that.
If I hook these wires up to the lock/unlock wires going to the VSM, the alarm will be able to be turned on and off by the switch inside the car. I don't think this is the correct way to do things.
The car is pulled apart, so if you can help me out real quick, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

im not familiar with that unit but i just looked up the install guide and it shows that it has a manual arm and disarm wire. what you would have to do is hook those up to the drivers door motor wires. the lt blue/red (man. arm) would go to the lock motor wire and the lt blue/black (man. disarm) would go to the unlock motor wire. those wires would be a pretty thich guage pink/black for lock and RED / orange for unlock. both can be found in the dkp.

This wire should also be hooked up. It will go to the passenger unlock motor wire which is pink/orange at factory keyless, or at passenger kick.

Unlock Switch Sense (LT. BLUE/GREEN)

This wire will prevent the system from disarming the security system when a POS or NEG pulse is applied to it

from an external device. This will prevent the system from disarming if it is pulsed at the same time as the LT.

BLUE/BLACK (Manual Disarm Input) wire.

For example: To prevent the system from disarming from the switch on the door. Connect this wire to the unlock

switch or passenger unlock motor wire

Cool. Thanks.
The Door Trigger wire (Lt. blue/white) says it is a negative in the diagrams. I put a VOM on it and it actually gets about .2 volts + when the door is opened. I've tested and tested and am sure this is the correct wire. Is this right? Will it trigger the alarm properly with that low voltage?
Last question.
Using the DEI 555P bypass, which 2 wires do I use? There are 4 wires coming from the little module (that sends the signal). I believe orange, black, white and one other (cant remember which color). Do you know which 2 I grab for the DEI 555? I just tap onto these wires, correct? Or do I cut them and hook the 555 inline (I dont think this is the right choice)?
Thanks again for all your help!!!!

Guys.
I have a DEI 555P that I am putting on my 2000 Expedition. I am not sure exactly where these wires hook to. Can you tell me quickly?
On the 555P, there are these wires:
Red- 12 Volt
Black- Gnd.
Blue- Remote start input (-)
Ylw/Blk- Immobilizer data tap, pin 3
Brown- Immobilizer sync tap, pin 4
Pink- Car side Ignition
Pink/Wht- Key side Ignition
On the car, there are these wires:
Orange
Black
Blue
White
Where do DEI wires go to?
Do the "ignition" wires on the 555 just go to the same wires I cut for the remote start? Or do these go elsewhere?
Thanks!

So no one knows how to connect a DEI 555P Pats bypass to a 2000 Expedition? It's only 4 wires!

The red wire off of the module goes to 12v. The black wire is ground. The blue wire goes to the (-)status wire of your remote start. Only one of the wires on the cars pats plug should give you 12v with the key on,should be pin 2, but DEI says pin 1 and 2 can be reversed......this is the ignition wire...cut this wire...pink/white goes to the key cylinder side...the pink goes to the car side. Only 1 of the wires will show ground ( should be pin 1). Yellow/black of the module should go to pin 3...brown should go to pin 4..........when you pull the pats plug and have it facing at you (the side without the wires)with the tab side up....pin # 1 is on the left side.
