I put the ddx 8017 in my 03 Denali, and it worked fine for a couple of months.  This morning when I turned on my truck, there was no sound coming out of the speakers.  I checked my connections and my settings and all are copesetic, I also pressed the reset button, and no dice.  Please help.

thanks,

todd

Does it power up?  Are you using an external amp?

It powers up and works fine; except no sound.  No external amp.  I am using the peripheral interface and the factory bose system.  It worked fine until today, and then it just stopped.

thanks

maybe the factory bose amp took a crap? try connecting a regular speaker directly to the ddx speaker outputs, if the is output on them, then continue down the line testing for output.

I know that the factory bose didn't die because, I hooked up the factory radio because I didn't have time to mess around with it yesterday.

Thanks,

todd
