Actually, before I leave, I am bit more confused. From the above, thare at least 4 ways to wire this, which is the correct way to do ? ??
1) Do it this way, 85 to the small purple, 86 and 30 to 12volts, and 87 to your second starter wire....
2)http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/108.jpg
3)85 to the purple starter ,86 to ground.  30 to the 2nd starter wire in the car.  87a to nothing. and 87 to 12v constant.
4)30 to constant 12v+ fused, 85 to ground....86 tapped off the main starter wire, 87 to 2nd start wire

Thanks.

It is not really a matter of which is the correct way....as long as it is done one of those ways......basically...as long as the 2nd starter wire gets 12v+ during crank of the RS...and is relay isolated from the main starter wire, that would be considered "correct". In this case there is more then one way to skin a cat...

Simply choose any of the methods suggested that suits you...if the unit does not have a dedicated output wire to drive the 2nd start relay..use the main crank output wire of the RS to drive the relay coil..its simple. All the relay is doing in this case is isolating the 2 start wires..and sending current to the 2nd through the contacts of the relay during remote start crank cycle.

Good Luck
