Hi, i would like to install my own alarm, but ive never done it before. Does anyone know of any how to tutorials with pics on alarm installs?

If you've never done it before, you're in for a challenge. I guess this would depend on the vehicle and what kind of alarm you are installing. What kind of experience do you have with 12V electronics?

i agree- alarms can get complicated expecially with remote starts

Its a 99' Cadillac STS, and i think im gonna go the Viper route with the blue pager remote. I have pretty good experience with 12 volt electronics. I mean i can install a reciever in less then 10 minutes, and an amp fairly quickly, i mean unless holes have to be drilled through the fromt fire wall.
