Did anyone watch the latest Unique Whips? The blue Escalade, the motorized lift for the UA plexiglass logo with the SPLIT MDF that the logo sits on? He (Remmy) was showin the way the platform comes up with the actuator.....a crack in the mdf at least 2 inches down the lift board. I was real glad to see him make a different box, but then.....cracked mdf? I saw that it was covered.....but!     Tsunami and JBL???

Just a rant from me....if it gets deleated before anyone can read and reply....so be it. Ain't nothin unique about it.

Never saw the episode but that crack must have been pretty signficant if you saw it on the tube.

It was funny...cause Remmy's got that big "I did it" smile on his face, and you know as I do the linear actuators don't move real fast....up it came.. rite at the camera.

I just watched it this morning (I TiVo Unique Whips) and I saw what you were talking about but I'm guessing Reme doesn't have time to drill pilot holes with Will breathing down his neck, and that led to the MDF split.
And also I'm sure they're sponsored and get paid to use Tsunami and JBL. Before they always used Stinger wire and JL Audio everything with an Alpine head unit... you always knew what was going in a car but Tsunami and JBL were probably like "hey.. use our stuff" and pop a little money their way.

Will makes the claim of being one of the top 5 auto customizers in the USA.......and like you said, no time to do it correctly. If only these billionaire sports stars actually knew the crap the were buying......

To KarTuneMan...
Are you really surprised that a company like that is cutting some corners to save a few dollars? It seems that Will is more interested in rushing everything and making more money than to do everything right.
