Does anyone out there know what the impedence of the avic-n2 GPS antenna is?  I am not sure if it is 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm.  I need to find a replacement connector for this antenna.  I have lokked on Digikey, and there are several Fakra SMB connectors, but I am not sure which one is right for the gps unit with the grey connector.  I know you should never cut the antenna wire and solder a new one, but this is kind of a science project for me, so any help in a specific part number replacement would help.

Thanks,

Joe

Thank you for the reply, although that is great information for a replacement part, I actually need to know the individual part number for the Fakra connector on the end of the antenna.  There are several at this link, http://www.amphenolrf.com/products/fakrasmb.asp but I am not sure what one matches the Pioneer connector, as I mentioned I need both the male and female, and I also need to know if the antenna is 50Ohm or 75 Ohm impedence.

Thanks,

joe
