Negative, and will only test with key in drivers door cylinder.

the remote start that i am installing does not come with a double pulse. what do i do in that situation.

send the (-) lock wire of the remote start to the WHITE/ violet wire and then send the(-)  unlock wire of the remote start to the pink/white wire of the vehicle. If your escape has a factory alarm then you will want to diode of the (-) unlock wire of the alarm and send one wire to the blue/green disarm wire and then the other wire to the pink/white.
