Your remote start is a Polar Start. this unit is made by AutoStart. It should have the same basic colours as any Autostart remote starters. Check www.autostart.ca

Im gonna sound stupid cause ive been installing these in all 4 of my vehicles so far but what is an external trigger wire (-) which according to the manual means power (12vt) is being pumped away from the control unit?

THANK!!!!!

Tim

ps is voltage supplied constant through this wire or just for a second.

If you are talking about a remote start, generally the external trigger wire will allow the remote start to be activated with a quick negative pulse to this wire..
