I am installing auto start on a 2007 Honda Odyssey. Does anyone know if I could find the factory disarm wire in the drivers kick panel ? I know this wire is located in the drivers door but I would like to save some time not having to remove the door panel and run a wire from the door to my alarm system.

Definitely only in the driver's door, at the power window switch.

If you buy the XK01, with the HODL4 firmware, from bypasskit.com, you won't have to go into the door. It also does the locks, sliders, and I think hoodpin for you.

XK01 is definitely what I was looking for... I am currently searching for a site that sells them. If I purchase the XK01 from bypasskit.com, I have to buy at least two devices which I dont need.

I just finish installing the idatalink ADS-DL on a 2007 Odyssey. Everything went well but the idatalink LED keeps flashing red. I tried to reset the unit by pressing the program button while inserting the 4pin into the unit but still no luck. The LED on the idatalink just keeps flashing red. Is their anything I should do? I cant even program it!

Get in touch with whom ever you purchased the idatalink piece from.

You did follow the factory reset instructions correctly. As soon as you insert the 4 pin, you let go of the programming button. In 2 seconds the LED should go solid....and it does NOT?

Are you a dealer? If so, check for an update. If you are not, return the item. It would not be the first time one was defective.

Also.....what type of remote start are you installing?

on the hondas make sure you dont count the pin numbers as they are usually way off when hooking up the module to the key signals, use the wiring colours listed on the next page of the DL manual, i bet you have data and ignition mixed up.

410440 - I got the pins right matter of fact, its something with the unit because I cant reset it. I pulled out all the harnesses and just put in the power cable. While holding down the program switch, I inserted the 4 pin standard cable into the unit. Then I released the push button switch and the LED still flashes red.

KarTuneMan - I am installing the idatalink ADS-DL with a Commando FM 870 2-Way alarm and rs.

Guys the problem was that the module did not have the firmware installed on it. When I called the dealer, they sent me another one and it works great. Only problem I am having is that when I auto start the van, it doesnt crank on the 1st try but the 2nd try the van starts. I dont have the rs in tach mode it is cranking on a set crank start. The timer is set to .85 sec. and I know its doesnt have to anything with that or being in tachless mode because the van is not reading the key sense the 1st time it tries to crank.

I am installing alarm w/rs on a 2007 Honda Odyssey. While completing the install, I have also installed an IDATALINK ADS-DL to take care of the OEM security system, sliding doors and the power locks. When I auto start the vehicle, it cranks on the 1st try and the van doesn’t stay on. When the rs tries again the van successfully starts. I don’t have the rs in tach mode, it is cranking on a set crank timer. The crank time is set to .85 sec. and I know its doesn’t have to anything with the crank time or being in tachless mode because while the van is starting the key indicator on my dash starts to flash - informing me the vehicle is not sensing a key. But after the 1st crank it tries again and the vehicle starts correct - without the key sense indicator flashing on my dash. Can anyone help me out pls?

I've used 1.0 seconds cranking time on Odysseys, with no comebacks ever.

Can your unit be programmed for 1 second?
