I need to confirm wether or not keysense needs to be connected for this vehicle. I have been out of the R/S game for a couple years and just want to check. Any other input would be helpful. TIA.
Also the +domelight circuit input.
Thanks all.

I am only going to assume that the 1700G is simular to the GM SL2.  I am NOT a DEI type guy. (Even though they bought Astro)  Not sure. But at any rate, the keysence is not used on THIS module.

For domelight supervision, use the blue/white NEG. behind the headlight switch.

Also has anyone had any problems with the module not putting out the signal for the door triggers?

You connect the + domelight wire to the gray/black on the BCM directly under the steering column. It's in the black plug, pin E. Connect this and your door trigger output will work....

It is a positive, not negative. All the dome lights in all the 2003-up GM trucks are positive dome light trigger. .

I did make that connection and the door trigger output worked at first. After the install was completed and the car put together it stopped working. Don't know what happened.

I think as in with the 457G you have to reset with ignition for it to monitor the door again after a while?
