I'm installing a galaxy 5100rs alarm on a 2007 gmc sierra can anyone help me trouble shoot the door locks, dome light and the remote start. I also need help finding what the wiring diagram calls a  "A pilar" that is the location for all door trigger. If anyone can help that would be awesome. Thanks

The "A" pillar is where the wimdsheild meets the door. Open the door and grab the front glas AND the car at the same time. THAT'S the A pillar. The B pillar is the next part of the body where the front door meets the back door. C pillar....yup, at the back window.    Trouble shoot, is a vague word without more info? What is the problem with the door locks, dome light, and remote start???

I thought the door locks were reverse polarity but they are not working. As far as the remote start I am getting a passlock II so that I can by past the factory anti-theft. On the doom light were is located on the A Pilar that why I was needing to know were that was, and thanks for the fast response by the way. Do you think I will need a single wire door lock interface for this car?

Use a door lock and bypass module combo for this vehicle. It will save you hours of going into each door for door locks as well as running wires. ADS-DL from iDatalink or the XK series from bypasskit will work.

You would use a tech sheet for the fullsize GM trucks from 2003-2006. There are many bypasses that would work. Trilogix GMDL-BP, DEI 457G, or the DEI 1700G are 3 modules that would work.

the new body style 07 gm trucks have a very wild door lock setup, the doc above will not work, trilogix( which d.e.i. just finalized purchasing)has a interface to do doorlocks thru data, d.e.i. makes 1 the 1701yg but ive heard their having problems with it, too complex&time consuming to wire up with just relays, also truck does not have passlockII, it has pk3+ which will require an extra key and a universal bypass module for key to be installed into, i just sell my dealers a 1 button starter only as door locks are a pain, you casn program the extra key yourself and it wouldnt need to be cut just pick up a spare key from dealership(around 40.00 i believe)and just program it when starter is installed that way you dont need to put a cut key in the bypass
