what bypass was in there for the remote start? If they used a dei product for the bypass, did you reconnect the 22ga (i think) passlock wire?(as it needs to be cut for passlock I, and each side of that wire goes to differenct wires on the bypass

i am not even sure what the bypass module is all i know is i removed a patsk 200 of which all wires from it were spliced into original factory wiring also remote unit i beleive is CT3100.all wiring except for the yellow passlock were not cut only spliced into as for the yellow from key cylinder i re-connected and saudered back together.

It sounds like you have the factory wiring back to normal at the ignition switch.  Try restting the computer this way-

Disconnect the cars battery, both cables.  Now touch the pos and neg cables together for 10-20 seconds.  This should discharge any memory retaining capacitors.

Then let the car sit, battery disconnected for a while.  30-40 min?

Then reconnect the battery, and turn your ignition on (not to crank, just "Run") for 30-40 min. Short term passlock failure can be reset by leaving the key on for ten minutes, but long term failure takes 30 min to reset.

Turn key off, then try and start car.

If you still are having problems, you may need a scanner to clear out trouble codes to reset the theft system.  Or, you may have a faulty ignition switch.  I hate to send you to a dealer, but...
