I have a 2007 Silverado New body style in which I will be installing a remote start. The OEM anti-theft has 2 systems in it.PK3 the transponder and also Passlock Ion.The truck requires 2 modules to get the install done XK01-GMDL6 and XM06-PKG9.The XK01 is straight forward simple install. The  Xk06 is a little confusing.I have figured out the 3 of 5 wires that come off the ignition switch. The last two are pink/black and white.Which one is r-code wire in which I have to cut to install the by-pass.Now with the last wire what is it used for and do I have any wires to connect to it from the main power harness.

i believe the silverado is just like the tahoe, passlock not needed, just pkIII+ and like most other gms no starter wire, car sees access&ignition then acess. drop, tells bcm to crank car, only 1 bypass ( for pkIII+) is required
anyone correct me if im wrong, i dont see why it would be different than the tahoe

Pink ign, Yellow acy, pink/black starter, white 5volt ref. Dont connect the accy out of your rs to the ign harness that is part of the R code. You cut the pink / black starter mux wire. you don't connect anything to the white wire. Im pretty sure this is correct , I was looking at an old xk06 sheet.
