My factory alarm still works but I broke my last key fob for it.  The replacement on one is around 125.  so I figure I would buy a new alarm all together.  I ended up buying the Autopage RS 1000 OLED.  I already installed a DEI Valet 905T so I can somewhat restore the keyless entry feature but I found the factory alarm to only arm after arming and disarming at least 2 times.  This has me beleive that the negative pulse duration from the Valet is not long enough to arm the microswitch in the door handle.

I like the new features and am looking for a wiring diagram to ease the installation as well as any advice on how to tackle this since English wiring is a nightmare.  I plan on dumping the whole factory alarm and starting from scratch to eliviate some of useless wiring and avoid future issues.  I plan to use all of the functions in the RS 1000.  I am not too keen on the latest security since I have not worked in a shop in 10+ years or have competed in any IASCA events in 6 years.  So please help and old dog some new tricks (I am not that old).

It gets about 5MPG in the city but once I get it out on the highway it cruises at about 20MPG.  It is a AWD 6400lbs beast and to top it off I run tires that are about 3" taller than stock.

Thanks for the chart.
