Hi all:
I have a 2001 GMC Yukon and need to know how to hook up the heated seats to my auto-starter? Is there an easy way to do it like in the kick panel or do I need to go to the switch in the driver's door? Thanks.

You must go to the switch in the door. Look on the back of the little board. Look at it with the actual switch to the right. Just below the switch you will see 2 large solder points. Down to the left, and down to the right. Wire a relay like this 86 12volts, 85 use the trunk output from the unit. 30 thru a 2K resistor goes to the solder point on the left. 87 get's the other solder point. AFTER REMOTE STARTING....push the trunk pop, the drivers seat will turnm on high, hit the trunk pop again, it will switch to low, again, it will turn off. This works.....have fun!

They were talking about using a data interface module to control the seats through the computer, my info however also says that that wont work and you need to do the relay method to activate the seats.

Sounds good. I will give the relay method a shot. Are the resistors neccesary or can I just run the relay alone? Thanks again.
