Are there any 5 or more channel amps still made other than kicker and crossfire? My set up will consist of a 3 way set up in the front stage, a 2 way set up in the rear, with a 8 or maybe 10 inch sub(depending on room), and 2 10 subs in the trunk. None of the equipment has been purchased so i'm open to all suggestions.

Audiobahn and Alpine have a 5/6 channel range but they're pricey.

Hmm.  Why don't you stick with cabin speakers in the cabin and subs in the trunk?  Not sure what you are asking for in terms of wiring when you imply two seperate subwoofer systems.

I've been running JL Audio's 6-channel for some 4 years now and it has easily become my all time favorite amplifier.

or, if you've got lotsa money, the 5-channel variant has some of the most impressive onboard xovers I've ever seen in an amplifier.

Other than that I notice you want to run 2x10" in the trunk.. you might find a smallish 4-channel and dedicated monoblock would do that a bit better than a full-range 6 channel or a 5-channel with a smallish subwoofer output.  Unless your vested in a 1-amp solution, I'd consider a pair.

Here's where I'd look first. EXTREMELY good performing amp. Sounds like nothing at all, which is how an amp SHOULD sound. Around 800 bux, I think.
Zapco makes a fantastic sounding amplifier, if reallyexpensive. 1200 bux...
Another Zapco. Also expensive, but when you figure what all it does, not really TOO spendy. 1400 bux
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

focal also makes a very nice 5 ch amp. very expensive though. you get what you pay for in the audio business though.

The JL's and elemental designs are in my price range. which would you recommend. I can personally hear the jl but not the elemantal designs, so i'd hate to order one and not like it.

The JL 500/5 is a proven amplifier from an industry leading manufacturer. . . and its cheaper . . . several hundred dollars less . . . than anything else posted in this entire thread.  And the onboard xovers and input topology are all superior to anything that ED is offering, even at what appears to be some 150% of the price.

The only ED amp that wouldn't cost substantially more isn't even in production yet.  It isn't slated to come out for some 3 more months.

Get a JL500/5...  here it is far and away your most technologically capable and cheapest choice.

I will still have two amps. The 5/6 channel for the interior and free air sub in the rear deck and a dedicated mono for the two tens. Or would it be better to have 3 of the same subs, with the interior on a 4-channel and the subs on a 5/6 channel in 3 channel mode.
