ive seen this done a lot and i used to know how to do this a while back....i have a blue led that flashes for my python alarm...its mounted in my a-pillar...i wanted to put another one on the passenger a-pillar...do i just tag into the same RED / blue wires off the one that is in there now? or someone else told me i have to switch the wires and put red to blue, blue to red so it flashes the same

Yes, you will want to wire the led's in series (positive to negative).
