Hi Guys

I have a Alpine CDA-9855 HU

-a MRV-F545 125W x 4 Amp

My amp is running Alpine type R components and type R 6x 9

I listen to mainly rock and rap

My question is and ive seached alot but havent been able to find anything

what should i set my X-over on my deck to and on my amp

Also  the deck has a 7 band -eq what would be the best settings for that

it usually comes down to personal preference, however...

if you are not running a subwoofer, i would set the x-over for the components to high pass at about 60-80 hz.   and turn off the xover for the 6x9s.

if you have  a subwoofer, then i would probably set the high pass filter for the 6x9s as well.

as far as the eq goes, nobody can tell you how to set it without sitting inside the car.  it comes down to personal preference and how you want it to sound.
