I have just installed dei python 990sst in my car.. the problem is ...
my transmitter doesnt notify me when the alarm is triggering even when i am just beside the car.. but when i disarm it does let me know the alarm was triggered.. n i do get confirmation when i arm n disarm its just that the alarm doesnt automatically send out notifications when the alarm is triggered .. wat would be the most likely cause of this problem?
Hope u guys can help me.. thanx a million

sounds the remote is sleeping. easy way to tell is to wait 10-15 seconds on a sst remote and you will see a rx flash at the top of the lcd above the lock/unlock icon. If not its sleeping. Easy to fix. Flip over remote press and hold program buttom until you hear one long beep. within 5 seconds press the (*) button and it should turn it on. To exit wait 5 seconds should here two short beeps. Now look at remote and within 10-15 seconds it should show the rx button which lets you know its awake. arm system set it off and it should give confirmation
