Is it the running of the fan thats killing your battery? Or does the fan FINALLY stop, and your battery still goes south?

Do you get any different results NOT using the remote start? Does the fan stay on when you use the keys? (no remote starting)

you nailed it, the fans stay on if the AC was on. If you use the key the AC fans shutoff after 15 seconds.   If you use the remote and no AC it still runs the battery dead but probably from keeping that circut live or something

Sound like you have an accs. or an ign. relay staying energized on the remote starter. I would get your meter out, do a remote start, and shut down, and see what's staying hot on the remote start harness/Ign. harness.

SOMETHING is getting 12v, at a time that it should NOT. and it must be related to the key cylinder.

Try this, leave the A/C on, then...

Use the remote start, get in the car, put the key in and turn to ON, hit the brake, and then shut the car off?

Does the fan still stay on?  Or is this all happening when you do a r/s shutdown w/ the keyfob.

I was thinking that perhaps you'd have to pulse the doorpin (-) trigger with the REARM(-) wire off the r/s brain.

The search function is your friend.

It only does this when used with r/s. How do i go about that last part?

Keep in mind if i take the fuse out of the 1700g i have no problems after that, battery never goes dead and trunk/door locks still work fine.
