Hi

I have a 2001 Ford Mustang Gt that I hooked up a pyle alarm up to. I bought a "Smart" Window module. It is supposed to roll both windows up and down. I am wanting to know how I should wire this thing up. Will I need any diodes or relays or anything like that?

BLACK/ white-(Cut loop for 2 window up/down mode)

GREEN/ Black=Front right motor down

Green= Front right switch down

Red= Fused 12v constant

Blue/black= front left motor down

blue=front left switch down

black=ground

BROWN / blue= front right motor up

brown= front right switch up

yellow= (-) up activation input

yellow/white=(-) down activation input

WHITE/ blue= front left motor up

white=front left switch up

If anyone has installed these in a mustang can you please let me know what I should need to install this.

Thanks,

        Chris

Well I havent got this module to work right. The only window I have gotten to go down is the passanger side and it was accedentally left unplugged. Both sides wont go up and both wont go down with the switches plugged in. The module is also getting warm and making a humming noise which cant be a good sign. Could I please have some help.  I have all the wires that are supposed to be ran to the motors like 2 inches from both motors and the same goes for the switches also.

Here is how I have it wired

                          Window module                         Car window wires

Pass side motor down- GREEN/ black to the Red wire on motor

Pass side motor up- BROWN / Blue to Yellow wire on motor

Pass side switch up- Brown to WHITE/ Yellow

Pass side switch down- Green to Tan/Light blue

Drivers motor down- Blue/Black to Yellow on motor

Drivers motor up- WHITE/ blue to Red on motor

Drivers switch down- Blue to Yellow

Drivers switch up- White to WHITE/ black

Then of corse the 12v power, ground, and I cut the loop.

Can someone please help me out?2001 ford mustang window module -- posted image.

Sorry that nobody is helping you, but I just did the same window module on a 2000 Mustang a week ago and its the same, so here it goes:

First of all you must have the wrong wires for your drivers window because they are both WHITE/ black.   These two wires are below where the main harness in the door splits to the switch. The two WHITE/ black wires go in to a white connector and come out red on other side. You will need to meter these two wires to find which is up and which is down since they are same color. After you figure out which is which this is how it goes. Remember plug side is motor side. Cut wires

Driver up  WHITE/ black switch side - white

Driver up WHITE/ black plug & motor side - WHITE/ blue

Driver down WHITE/ black switch side - blue

Driver down WHITE/ black plug & motor side - blue/black

I don't know where you are getting these red and yellow wires from, but they have nothing to do with anything you have to worry about

As far as the pass side you are half right on that one. Don't know where you are tagging your pass side wires, I did it in the drivers kick. but this is how pass goes:

Pass up tan/lt blue switch side - brown

Pass up tan/lt blue motor side - BROWN / blue

Pass down WHITE/ yellow switch side - green

Pass down WHITE/ yellow motor side - GREEN/ black

This is how I did it and works perfectly

Hope this helps out 2001 ford mustang window module -- posted image.
