Every wire is hooked up correctly or so I assume, I have triple checked. The only things not hooked up are the hood pin switch and the neutral safety switch. Yet when I press the remote start button, I get nothing. The module does not even click. When I press unlock/lock on the remote the module makes a click sound and then does the correct function. Yet when I press the remote start button I get no response whatsoever. Any ideas?

The neutral safety wire must be grounded. Usually the wire is run thru the little toggle switch that comes with the unit so the remote start can be disabled when servicing the vehicle.

So this will solve my problems? Is this the reason behind the module not working at all?

It will solve your problems if everything else is correct. If the neutral safety wire does not see ground, the unit will have NO RESPONSE if you try to remote start. Make sure you learn the tach signal before trying to remote start.
Also, don't make multiple posts for multiple problems with the same install. Keep all questions in the same thread. It makes it easier for us to follow your progress. I think it is also in the forum rules.

yes, you should use the toggle switch to control the remote start like JWorm says, ground one side of the switch and the other ends goes to the BLACK/ white of the h3 plug.  Also connect the hood trigger wire. This way when someones working under the hood of your truck the remote start unit will not engage.
