Good Morning,

I am having trouble wiring the Window Rollup Module on an Alfa Romeo 164 Super V6 24v (1996). I connected the wires like I usually do and this time the Alfa Romeo 164 uses another negative wire to roll up the windows module I guess this its cos its 5-way Reverse Polarity.

The problem I am encountering is on the Driver's Window. The window switch came as factory standard with an Auto 1 Click Roll Up or Roll Down. The module I installed works on all 3 windows except the driver's. I  think that there is a relay or some sort or sensor to know when I have tapped once on the switch on just raising the window.

I must admit that I've never encountered such a problem, funny  thing rolling up 3 windows then the driver's side is left open ! Oh I almost forgot, the window module manages to roll the window up when there is the Ignition On but not on Off.

Your help and experties would much be appreciated,

Regards,

Keith

you definitely need to check your connections and make sure theres no other modules between the switch and the window motor
the best part of a job is seeing the bumper get smaller over the horizon
