I have/will have 2 pairs of 4-ohm speakers (4 total). two will be 4" plates, the other pair will be 6.5" round. all are midranges. If I wire them in a series/parallel combo to a "mono" 4ohm load will they work with my old class D mono sub amp? Alpine MRD-M605, 600 W RMS @ 4 ohms. I only ask because I believe this is a sub only amp, and I want to verify. thanks

I don't know why you would want to do something like that, but no, your MRD-M605 is a subwoofer amplifier with rated frequency response only from 20 to 200 Hz.  It is not designed for use driving midrange speakers.
