I'm looking at the specs on this amp and then newest V2 version of it and can't see any differences, does anyone know what they changed from the 500/1 to the 500/1 V2?

Also one other stupid question but this will be going in a 3 series BMW where the battery is located in the trunk, should I ground the amp right to the Negative terminal since it is right there, or should I pick a good spot on the chassis?

THANKS!

Basically the changes are cosmetic. You can now stack the amps. I always like to ground my amps to the chassis of the car.

In BMW's I usually ground right to the battery. Bob just likes to be different sometimes.

I have been uber busy here at the store and work at the pub. The pub just put me through security training, spent a couple weeks learning more law, use of force etc. (and of course exactly how to make holds, break holds, take downs, choke out's etc.......the joys of being a doorman).

I use the factory ground location for the battery in that car, it is just below the battery if you follow the ground off the battery. I believe it is a 10mm bolt.
