Try this: insert your key into the key cylinder and try to remote start the truck. If it starts then try it without it in the cylinder. If it doesn't start, you did not bypass the system properly.

If you did not try the above test, then I can't help you anymore. The PATS is not the same as the StarGaurd. The PATS is a factory Ford passive anti theft system that comes on almost all F-150's.

I'll try that, but I did not know my alarm came with remote start, its a clifford concept 100.  My girlfriend has the same exact alarm on her civic and it doesn't have remote start installed, the guy who sold it to me said that I would need to buy an add on module for the remote start option.

OK, now I know what your are trying to do here. In the above post when you said that the truck won't start, I thought you had a remote starter installed with the Clifford. Now I can see straight. OK.......... Do this but do not use that microchip thing you are talking about :

  • WHITE/ BROWN=====Keyside DARK BLUE/LIGHT GREEN
  • GREEN/ BLUE ====== ENGINE SIDE BLUE/LIGHT GREEN
  • WHITE/ GREEN ====== KEYSIDE RED / LIGHT BLUE
  • WHITE/ BLUE ======== ENGINE SIDE RED / LIGHT BLUE
  • What is that microchip thing anyway ??
