my escort has a two wire acuators. There is no lock switch it is activated by the manual loock switch up on top of the door panel by the glass need help.

I'm pretty sure your Escort is a semi central locking system (same as my 90 Protege) (read as: cheap bastards can't spring for one more actuator:))you'll need to add an actuator to the drivers door to get keyless entry. There is a switch in the drivers door that activates the relays to the other door(s). but there is no actual actuator in the drivers door, just that switch. Which is why one is needed for keyless entry. You will still need to add relays to control the newly added actuator.
