this may seem like a dumb question but i just got a w7 and i heard somethin about peeling back the rubber lip to drill it down but i dont really see how could someone help me out please??

On a W7 before you install that trim ring that fits over the surround, you should be able to push the surround towards the inside and that will expose your holes to drill it down...

what trim ring? i just got it off ebay so maybe i dont have it thats why im not sure what u mean

take your finger and push the surround towards the center of the cone... that will expose the holes.....
