Just wondering if it is a good idea to use the led light or not? I am thinking not, cause if a car thief sees that he knows I have a aftermarket alarm and will probably know how to quickly disarm it. But if their is no light he will just think its a factory alarm..then get surprised and hopefully flee before he gets anything. what do you guys think?

I'd put it in.  Not only does it work as a deterrent, but it's helpful when you're trying to program a feature or troubleshoot an issue.

Besides... if the alarm is installed properly, it shouldn't be that easy to disable.

I'm not a professional installer. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

I agree. LED is a theft detterant. 80% of thieves will move to the next car if they see it has an alarm. They normally don't wan attention. Put in the LED
"dont ground out!"
