I know this is a really silly question, but I was wondering if you guys can help me. I have a Viper 71xv Car alarm installed in my car. My parants had tons of boxes in my house (we have doing alot of yard sales) and I think it might have accidently been placed in one of alot. Is there a way to find the pager by paging it somehow? My car unfortunately was left unarmed so I can't simply set off the car and listen for the page. I tryed using the Valet Button to set my car to passive arming, but I can't do this because it requires the alarm. Is there any way to arm the car manually? I really want to find this thing.
THanks so much

Don't you have two remotes anyway?  If so set your alarm with your other remote, make it go off and listen for your pager remote.

dont you have the "contact driver" or "knock pad" usully its built into the antenna. just hit that a few times, and it should page your controll. on vipers im not sure if the system has to be armed. on compustar, you can just knock and it will page the control.
