Also, the model #(s) of the amp(s) you'll be using, for wiring purposes.

No real sure right at this time, Just trying to get an Idea. They will be low end sub though. Audiobahn, pioneer, MTX,... I am not trying to break any records no do I have lots of power. Probably for now around 200 watts per sub.

How much can you spend on the subs? What amp(s) will you be using?

Buddy has 2 of these, SDAT GF100 10-in. 400-watt Subwoofer. He has them in a blazer with a power 150HD fosgate amp and they hitt pretty good. Not awsome just good. I can get them for 5 buck each. I have a profile California amp to run them.

I am trying to understand how I can controll my speakers with 2 amps and 1 set of RCA jacks from my deck. I have one amp going to subs, and another going to 4 door speakers. Is this hookup possible and how would I controll the bass, highs, mids?

If you are looking to fade front and rear and have adjustable sub control then no. Buy a decent player that has 3 pairs of rca's. Or you could still hook it all up and use the outputs from your four channel to run to your sub amp, if it indeed has outputs. You might have to use y adapters then.
It was already broken, but I made sure it could never be fixed again.
