Alright, when he hooks up to the NSS since it's a (+) would he need to reverse the polarity with a relay so it acts as a neutral safety? Also do Subarus only need one ignition pulse not like a Honda that has 2 IGN wires? Don't worry thread jacking because I'm helping with his install. Thanks for any help.

Heres a diagram of your vehicle's NSS. Subaru calls it NPS. At neutral, the ECU will not see 12vdc+. When in gear, the ECU will get the 12vdc+ signal. Test it, for sure. Thats correct, you will need to wire up a relay to switch the polarity to fit w/ your RS unit. Amt of IGN or ACC wires will be dependent on makes and models. The diagram given to you maybe not 100% accurate, although I trust it, you also need to check it on your own. The amt of ign or acc wires can be figured out w/o a diagram, and only need a DMM. glHouston,TX
