if you really wanted to put the starter to your factory key fob you can wire up the activation input wire (if it exists on your r/s) to a lock/unlock wire. Then program the r/s to a 2 or 3 press activation... when you press your lock/unlock button 2/3 times it will activate the r/s. With this you only have the range that you get with your factory remote, but it does work.

I thought I read that the lock wire on this car is not a 12 volt signal its a lower voltage signal. I am leaning towards the 561T now 07 chrysler pacifica remote start - Page 2 -- posted image.

That is odd I also have not come across a chrysler, jeep or dodge that the keyless drops out. I have done lots of calibers without seeing one where the keyless drops out, we use alot of dei 561t's at the dealers. It is strange that you got one that did. I will keep my eyes open if it happens to me.

I just did a 05 Caravan and the keyless worked with the ignition. As well, I went back to that Caliber and confirmed that the keyless is disabled only when the key is all the way in the cylinder.
