I'm sure they wouldn't steer me wrong but it looks almost one note-ish, then again I'm a total newb and have been struggling a bit. It was designed for my 99' Dakota ex cab and I was told that "It models out well with good efficiency and response"
I've gotta say they have some great CS, no other manufacturer has modeled a box for me.

A 3dB gain is normal for a vented/ported box -at the tuning frequency, which seems to be at about 55Hz.

It should 'punch' pretty well, but it won't go low or sound very good (AKA flat response).

So then to correct that I would have to tune the box lower right? Something around 30hz or lower.

it really depends on the vehicle its in...in one car it could sound like crap while in another it could sound very good and have a flat response

Hmmm, I'll just have to ask them about the peak and see what they say about it being in my truck.

They probably won't have any vehicle-specific info for you.

What kind of truck? Maybe someone here has one and can give an approximate fs.

They designed it for my truck, guess the question is does this look right for a truck? I have a 99' Dakota ex cab, I'm just getting second opinions.
