I installed a scytek 5100 in the 1997 honda accord. It happened last winter now winter starts, It happened again.  The remote is working fine but the brain does not receive the signal in the colder weather. It works perfectly fine in the warm weather. In the cold weather, I have to actually point the remote right where the attenna is( a few inches bet. remote and attenna to brain) It only works that close only. Why would you guys think that might be a problem here. Is it  the brain or the attenna(signal receiver). The remote and the brain has cannot commute in the cold weather unless I point the remote right into then attenna just a few inch apart. Please help.

I know i had an issue with a batch of 2 way command starts two years ago where they had the exact same problem and the only answer i got from a rep was that they were "defective" and were all replaced for the next season
