99 explorer getting a dei alarm/starter

im installing an alarm/remote starter in a 99 explorer sport. the wiring info from this site says there is a courtesy light under the dash that im splicing off for the door trigger. there is no light under the dash! any idea what wire i can splice into for the door trigger?

Yes a light blue \ white wire in the kick panel  or high above the kick panel. this wire will catch all doors and liftgate without a delay. also you will find a yellow \ black in kick panel connect  your domelight wire from DEI alarm ( black\ white ) to activate pod lights and domelight when you lock and unlock. If you want to do priorty door locks all you need to do is run wires to the anti-theft unit at the left rear quarter panel there you will also find the door trigger wire. Good luck.
