First of all you probablly have the wrong tach wire or is not programmed , You said you connect it on the passangers kick panel?????? Get the right tach wire and programm it this way.

1-- start car with key

2-- within 5 second after car starts press and hold Valet switch

3-- alarm light will come on solid, let go af Valet switch and parking lights will be now you Tach wire is programmed

TACHOMETER|*2 | |*2

*2 3.8 liter find coil pack at top front of engine. Use tan/white, tan/orange or tan/light green. 4.6 liter SOHC and 4.6 liter DOHC, two coils at top front of engine. Use RED / yellow, pink/white, RED / light blue or dark blue/light blue.

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.
