Hello Everyone,

First time poster here. I've got a Avital 4000 series (I think, as I never got a manual) remote starter. Everything is working as expected except now that my car has a few miles on it, the default engine crank duration is too short. It cranks for aprox. 1/2 of a second and  I need someting more like a full second or so.

Is this programmable through the remote or do I need to take it back to the dealer?

Thanks in advance!!!

if u know where it was installed, bring it back. Avital is DEI made and they carry lifetime warrenty and labour costs, so jsut bring it back ask they guy to program it for a second test it and then leave.

Grab the manual for the 561R in the downloads section here. It's the same as the 4000/4100 programming is covered starting on page 28. Crank time is feature 5.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
