I installed an ADS-TBSL-KO bypass module yesterday along side a CS-2014DP remote start. This was my first experience with a "Ford" bypass system and I'm have a few problems with it. According to the wiring diagrams I got with the bypass, it pulls power from the PATS 12 volt power off the ignition switch connector. (at least this was what I understood.) I end up getting the fast red LED flash after I select type two and insert the first key and turn on the ignition. According to the troubleshooting portion of the instructions, a fast flashing red LED means a hook-up issue. I swapped the RX-TX connections (after resetting the module) and still ended up with the same problem. Does the power connection require a constant 12volts? I'm at a loss here for a fix.

Once again, Thanks for the help on this!!
I was able to get this bad boy up & running with the bypass. (A painful lesson was learned with the "Red 12V" label. It needs to be on constant 12 volts not switched.) It took the programming after a few botched attempts. I was really happy not to see the flashing red LED not come back.
