Could anyone please tell me how to go about testing the out terminals on an amp (without hooking up a speaker) with a multimeter? Thanks

umm.....you mean to find wich one is pos & neg? OR for max output? Also, what amp is in question here? a little more info please.

Just to see if there is any output on a particular channel to see if the amp is good. Thank you.

Output on amp should be an AC current if it is putting any out. You could try a multi meter set to ac auto ranging. Or hook up a speaker.

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.

Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya
