disable factory alarm input, 96 pathfinder

1996 nissan pathfinder.i have a prestige(audiovox) remote start.all works well except i am unable to bypass factory alarm to remote start.says yellow/black wire(from rem start) to wire at antitheft module.doesnt work.i have to unlock with remote then use remote start or else alarm will go off.yellow/blk wire is not hooked up now

yellow/black is to be connected to the ignition input of another, aftermarket alarm, as indicated in the owner's manual.
The small BLACK/ blue makes a pulse before remote starting, and is used to disarm the factory alarm.
