How do you go about figuring out which way is best to aim your sub? I was looking at some bundle package including a 12" mtx and ported box with amp. Is there anything specific to consider when aiming the sub within the trunk or just move it around till it sounds good?

The idea of having a 10" and the 6" was shot down fast. I was just wondering what the difference was between having that set up in a car and this kind of set up in a truck...

Anytime multiple speakers are installed in multiple locations but are used for the same frequency bands, cancellations can occur.  This is the main reason why using a setup like you first suggested is not generally a good idea.

AH, okay. So just having just one 10" would be a lot better than the 10" and 6"?
This doesn't apply to 2 subs together in the trunk for example?

1: NO PRE FAB BOXES!!! Unless you get VERY lucky, you will NOT get optimal results. PERIOD.
2: That might be an OK woofer, but I still maintan that the Dayton will give better sound quality, AS WELL AS give excellent output. It will CERTAINLY go deeper than that RF woofer will, and probably in a smaller box.
3: There is NO WAY that amplifier will do the power it claims! Two 30A fuses will translate to about 360 to 400W total continuous power, divided by two chanels, that's only 180 to 200WPCRMS.
4: Do it however you want... I've given SEVERAL good suggestions through all of your threads, and others have agreed as well as given you OTHER good suggestions. I'm sorry, but I'm done. Good luck!
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
